Christina Ochoa is an actress and marine biologist. She is also an author and producer hailing who hails from Spain. Ochoa is the great-grandniece of Nobel prize winner Severo. Ochoa came from a family who valued artistic talents as well as her knowledge of science. The path she took to study led her over the world and from Spain through Australia and then to America. After she completed her studies in these countries, Ochoa became an active science educator through social media. She's been the host of various web shows, conferences as well as being a prominent speaker. But, she began to realise that while science has been one of her hobbies, acting is her true love. Ochoa, who started acting initially as a side activity, relocated to Madrid to gain a deeper understanding of the subject and possibly get a part. She made her debut on screen in 2008 with the show comedy La quiere avecina. Since then, she's performed on stage as well as as played leading roles on a number of TV series. Also, she has been a frequent writer for Vogue Spain and El Imparcial. In 2009 she joined Mensa.
